Susannah Nathanson is a contemporary artist from the UK, specialising in paint and sculpture. She required a website promote her work and provide information on events where she would be showcasing her work.

A key feature of Susannah’s work is the small detailed characters within larger pieces. This became a focus of both the introduction and header graphics, which sampled elements from Susannah’s paintings (Ill Viaggio and By and By). The website colour scheme was also based on her paintings.

The Website was constructed in CSS and HTML, while Perch Content Management System was used to provide the artist with sections of the website she herself could edit. Javascript was also added to the Gallery section of the website, providing lightbox-style zoom control.
